February 2023 • Competed in Augusta University Writer's Weekend "Writers In The Ring," a literary death-match hosted by Elissa Bassist, Chris Belden, and Latria Graham. A three-way tie.

April 2021 • "A House to Grow Up In" received Georgia Southern's First Year Writing award for personal essay.
